SteelSeries Engine 2.2.927 (Windows): DOWNLOAD HERE.
Sensei:
- Profile 1 On-Board has now been preserved for use with SteelSeries Engine.
- LED colors can now be selected and copied using RGB values, in both decimal and hexadecimal values.
System Tray:
- Added an option to Exit the SteelSeries Engine.
- Added an option under Settings to disable the Engine from automatically launching when the PC starts up.
- Added a check for a new version of the Engine. These checks are set to “automatic” by default, but manual checks are possible and automatic checks can be disabled. Customers will now be auto-notified when a new version of SSE is available (unless they disable the check).
- Add an option to launch the Firmware Updater.
Profiles:
- Updating the SteelSeries Engine should no longer remove custom profiles.
- When multiple profiles activate using the same trigger applications (defined in “Properties”), priority is given to user created profiles first, in alphabetical order.
- Default profiles and custom user-made profiles are now separated by collapsible headers.
- Fixed a bug that caused importing profiles to fail under certain conditions.
Statistics:
- Statistics tests continue running even when the Engine window is closed. A blinking red light will appear in the System Tray icon to indicate a Statistics test is running.
- Fixed a bug where the “Stretch on” and “Stretch off” options were reversed.
General:
- Improved response time while Windows is working in 16-bit color mode.
- Various improvements and corrections were made to the UI (see screen shots below):
- Side panels are now collapsible.
- Added a Tips section for various features in the Engine (see images attached).
- Improved core performance and memory usage.
- Corrected a few cases where text was black instead of white.
- Graphic elements have been optimized for a “sharper” representation.
- Updated UI element state on Macro Editor box to address macro creation confusion based on customer feedback
- Fixed a bug where Left-handed mode for mice was reverted after waking up from sleep.
- Fixed a bug that crashed the Engine by typing extraordinarily large values into the CPI field for mice.
- Fixed a bug that crashed the Engine by setting the font size to certain values.
- Fixed a bug where the last skin chosen was not saved on reopen of Engine UI.

- Added localization for Japanese and Traditional Chinese.
- Various improvements and corrections were made to the UI.

Kana (firmware version 260):
- Fixed an intermittent issue that caused the cursor to be stuck in movement when the mouse is quickly moved off the surface.
- Moving the mouse up and down in a perfectly straight line at high speeds no longer cause the mouse to lose its tracking temporarily; the cursor no longer jumps to the left or right.
- Scrolling the mouse wheel up or down at extremely high speeds can no longer cause a jump in scrolling in the opposite direction.
Kinzu (firmware version 150):

Sensei (firmware version 244):
- The Sensei no longer stays powered on while the computer is in sleep mode.
- Performance Enhancements– Read and Write operations have been dramatically improved. The Sensei cursor no longer “skips” for 1-2 seconds when switching between profiles or saving profiles.
- In unique certain situations, DCPI mode would get disabled. This issue has been resolved.
- ExactAim and ExactAccel no longer cancel each other out.
