” I can’t recommend the SteelSeries Spectrum 7XB enough.”

I never really came across such a figurative report of a using a noise reducing headset:

“While sitting in my recliner playing through Captain America on the Xbox 360, my partner turned to me and said…something. Her mouth moved, but no sound reached my ears. “I can’t hear you,” I mouthed in response, which elicited the international gesture for “take your fucking headphones off.” I did so, my ears suddenly assaulted by the piercing cry of an eight-month-old infant seated in his infant swing not two feet away.”
